Cars Land
Updated: Aug 18
I had heard about Cars Land. I had seen the pictures. I knew people loved it.
Still wasn't prepared.
Disney absolutely NAILED this one.
Walking into Cars Land at Disney California Adventure genuinely feels like you've walked into Radiator Springs. The signs, the music, the rockwork, the little details everywhere — Disney didn't just build a Cars-themed area.
They built Radiator Springs.
And then there's Radiator Springs Racers.
SO GOOD.
Part dark ride, part race, part how did Disney build this?
Our family is also huge into Formula 1, so obviously the racing element makes this one even better for us. The moment your car lines up next to another one and you realize you're actually about to race?
We're in. 😂
But the setting is what really makes the ride. I had seen plenty of pictures and videos beforehand, and they still didn't prepare me for how impressive it is in person.
It immediately became one our entire family wanted to ride again.
Does Cars Land live up to the hype?
100% yes.
Even beyond the ride, I loved just walking around and taking it all in. If you've watched the Cars movies approximately one million times because you have children, seeing Radiator Springs in real life is just FUN.
If you have a Cars-loving kid, you're going to lose your mind. If you're a racing family like us, Radiator Springs Racers makes it even better.
I knew Disneyland would give us experiences we couldn't get at Disney World.
I just didn't expect Cars Land to become one of my favorite Disney places, period.
But here we are. 😂
